The Turnbull government is planning to include postgraduate courses in a website that allows first-year students to compare the standard and quality of university learning and teaching.
Federal education minister Simon Birmingham told a national higher education forum that this is one of the “enhancements” being developed for the government’s Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching website.
Birmingham was outlining the government’s response to a report by the High Education Standards Panel, which has called for “urgent reform” of Australia’s university admissions system.
