Australia’s first research institute dedicated to developing 3D medical technologies for hospitals will open in Queensland in 2017.
Queensland University of Technology is working with the Metro North hospital and health service to set up the Herston Biofabrication Institute in Brisbane.
Announcing the project, state health minister Cameron Dick said the institute will establish Queensland as a global leader in medical innovation and technology.
