Flinders University in South Australia has been named as the world’s best digital illustration school by the Rookies, a global ranking system developed by leading animation and visual effects studios.
The judging panel gave Flinders and its partner, CDW Studios Adelaide, a score of 130, with Paris animation studio New3dge taking second place with 105, and Max the Mutt College of Animation Art and Design in Toronto, Canada ranked third with a score of 87.5.
The Rookies website says its annual top 10 best digital illustration schools ranking is “something we take very seriously” and is based on the quality of student portfolios submitted to a judging panel of designers and artists.
