Charles Darwin University in the Northern Territory is offering scholarships to cover travel and accommodation costs for its Sydney summer school programme in Indigenous languages.
The programme will be run by the Australian Indigenous Languages Institute at the university’s Sydney campus at Haymarket, in the city’s central business district. It will take place from 14 to 25 January 2019.
Greg Williams, an Indigenous studies lecturer at CDU, said it was critical to support and train Indigenous staff “to lead the next generation of language work”.
