Digital learning courses to tackle social impacts of gambling

Deakin project aims to raise public awareness and strengthen the work of support centres

Two free online courses to reduce the harmful impacts of problem gambling are being developed by Deakin University in regional Victoria.

The two-year project is funded by the New South Wales government and will be led by cybercrime specialist Nick Patterson from the school of information technology. It will also involve public health researchers from the university.
