Wollongong sign pledge to support sustainability research

Climate to be research priority in Pacific sustainability network

The University of Wollongong has joined a United Nations global network to tackle climate change and social inequalities through its research priorities, academic networks and business partners.

Wollongong’s membership of the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific branch of the UN Sustainable Development Solution Network was announced on 30 October. It means the university has pledged to support sustainability research programmes at its campus and across the Pacific region.
