Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane wants to create a new social platform for online gamers by hosting a series of events to increase connections and communication between players.

The project, called WellPlayed, will host an event on 8 May that will involve players in Brisbane, across Australia and overseas.

Players can register to play in two locations: the QUT eSports area in Brisbane or the Zen gaming lounge Melbourne. The event will feature two games, Ring of Elysiuk and Atlas Reactor.
