Grants and counselling for students affected by bushfires

Students at Monash can receive up to $2,000 to cover basics such as laptops and books

Monash University in Melbourne is to offer grants and free counselling to students who have been affected by the national bushfire crisis.

Deputy vice-chancellor Susan Elliott said that up to 1,000 students at the university had been affected and would be eligible for grants of up to $2,000 to cover basic requirements such as laptops and books.
