SA government backs CRCs with $2m budget bonus

The University of Adelaide’s national security and data analysis research centre has received $500,000 in extra funding from the South Australian government.

The Data to Decisions Cooperative Research Centre is one four SA-based CRCs that will share $2 million allocated for the industry-led research programme in the state government’s mid-year budget review for 2015-16.

The other three recipients are the Cell Therapy Manufacturing CRC which is led by the University of SA, the High Integrity Australian Pork CRC at UA’s Roseworthy campus, and the mining industry’s Deep Exploration Technologies CRC which involves universities in SA and Western Australia.
