Draft infrastructure roadmap highlights importance of data management and cross-disciplinary research in Australia

Making the right infrastructure investments is critical to support “world-class” fundamental research in Australia, according to a draft National Research Infrastructure Roadmap.

An exposure draft of an NRI plan for the next 5 to 10 years was released on 29 November, with recommendations for further investment and a call for better engagement with end-users. It was written after consultation with around 3,000 users of the national infrastructure and the research that relies on it.
