Research council reveals next centres of excellence

ARC picks 11 projects, ranting from Indigenous studies to gravitational waves

Carbon science, quantum biotechnology and violence against women are among the research fields to be covered by the latest round of the Australian Research Council’s Centres of Excellence programme.

On 4 November, the council announced that it would fund 11 new centres of excellence across the country, with a total of A$384.9 million (€249m). Each centre will be funded for seven years.
