Australian research infrastructure receives A$650m boost

          

Funding goes to areas including disease preparedness, astronomy and data sharing

Eighty Australian research projects are to receive a combined A$650 million in infrastructure funding.

The funding through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy includes A$4m for the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness, A$45m for the geoscience research body AuScope and A$2.7m for the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation’s National Deuteration Facility.
