Energy storage research centre aims to cut climate emissions

StorEnergy will work with industry to ‘drive innovative solutions to Australia’s energy needs’

Deakin University has launched an $11-million research centre for sustainable energy storage technologies, including advanced materials and battery systems, at its Geelong campus in regional Victoria.

The StorEnergy centre will produce materials for electrolytes and high energy density electrodes, which are used in lithium batteries.
