Businesses welcome certainty after years of debate

A long-running tussle over R&D tax rebates has been resolved in Australia’s recent federal budget.

On 12 October, just after the budget was released, a Senate committee inquiry into R&D tax rules handed down its report, noting that the budget superseded proposed laws that had been in development for years.
