SA funds university patent protection

The University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University will receive AU$1 million over three years from the South Australian state government to help researchers secure patent protection for their intellectual property.

“The BioSA IP Management Initiative will provide grants to better protect IP generated by researchers at the three universities, assisting them to capture and protect emerging technologies generated by that research,” the Science and Information Economy Minister, Tom Kenyon, said.
