Covid-19 highlights need for knowledge, but activism can still cost academics, leading Australian researcher says

Academic expertise is needed more than ever to help guide public policy, according to one of Australia’s leading researchers on business and workplace issues.

In a paper published last week in the journal Community, Work and Family, Marian Baird of the University of Sydney (pictured) said Covid-19 highlights the importance of research-guided decision-making.
