Three states reveal new research and development funding with medical and higher education focus

New South Wales and Queensland have budgeted hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of research and development funding, while Victoria has announced a new university research commercialisation fund.

NSW’s 21 June budget promises a new Future Economy Fund with A$703 million over four years for all stages of business development, including R&D, with A$252m allocated for its first year.
