University of Tasmania signs MoU with CSIRO

The University of Tasmania (UTAS) signed a memorandum of understanding with Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, to boost research capabilities at the institution.

The deal will see scientists work together in fields such as marine and Antarctic studies, information and communication technologies, and forestry, the university said on 24 August. Other research priorities could be added in the future, according to the statement.
