Australia’s first Charles Darwin Scholar named

British science historian and award-winning biographer, Janet Browne, is to be Australia’s first international Charles Darwin Scholar

Browne will visit Charles Darwin University in the Northern Territory in 2014 to deliver the inaugural Darwin Oration, which will draw on her research as his biographer and associate editor of his letters and diaries

Browne will also be available to CDU staff and students during her visit, and throughout the year, for further discussions and collaborations on projects related to Darwin research
