Deal aims to give graduates ‘work-ready’ skills

Universities Australia has signed a national agreement with four leading business groups to improve workplace training opportunities for undergraduates.

The organisation, which represents Australia’s 40 universities, announced the initiative at the National Press Club, during its annual conference in Canberra on February 26.

The collaboration will involve the Business Council of Australia, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Australian Industry Group and the Australian Collaborative Education Network.
