Australia’s education minister wants ‘the focus on a quality education’ despite Covid-19 disruptions

Federal education minister Dan Tehan has called for academic standards to be maintained, amid concerns that some universities are considering reducing the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) scores students need to get places on courses.

His comments were made during a press conference last week to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on education in Victoria.
