Australian Academy of Science announces 20 new fellows

Researchers recognised for work on superbugs, batteries and healthy soils

The Australian Academy of Science has announced 20 new fellows, including an engineer, a microbiologist and an ecologist.

Brajesh Singh of Western Sydney University has been recognised for showing how the loss of microbial diversity in soils can reduce functioning ecosystems, which has led to products and guidelines to improve soil health.
