Study finds Australian public worried about university costs, as government support declines

Government funding for Australia’s universities has fallen by nearly half over the past three decades, leaving them increasingly reliant on private sources of revenue.

That’s according to a 12 July report by Eliza Littleton, an economist with thinktank The Australia Institute.
