The European Research Council has selected 30 proposals out of 78 for the first round of “proof-of-concept” grants.
These grants provide an extra €150,000 to scientists who have already received ERC funding and want to study the market potential of their research results. Seven winners are located in the UK and the Netherlands, and four in Israel. The others are spread out across Europe.
