Funding for research on bee health inadequate, say MEPs

The European Parliament’s agriculture committee is demanding more funding for studies into the declining numbers of bees around the world.

In a resolution adopted on 6 October, the committee voted for increased resources to counter this threat to agricultural productivity in the next Framework Programme.
