JRC to work with science academies

The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and the European Academies Science Advisory Council have signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen existing links between national science academies and the EU. Announcing the deal in Brussels on 18 October, Brian Heap, president of Easac, said: “A closer collaboration will mean that we will be able to address shared interests to ensure that science can inform policy making.”
