MEPs and Ministers have reached an informal agreement to boost mobile broadband use.
Under the deal, EU countries would have to make the 800 MHz frequency band available for wireless broadband services by 1 January 2013. Between 2013 and 2015, at least 1200 MHz should be reserved for mobile data traffic.
