All EU countries need digital agenda ministers, commissioner says

Digital agenda commissioner Neelie Kroes said all EU countries should appoint dedicated ministers with the same portfolio as hers.

Speaking at the London Conference on Cyberspace on 1 November, Kroes said governments should encourage more people to use the internet. In particular, elderly people can live an independent life for longer with online access, she said.
