Environmental groups have criticised the European Commission’s preliminary announcement that European nuclear power plants are safe, EU Observer reports.
“Not a single [national] regulator identified urgent safety improvements, while almost all provided ‘limited’ to ‘very limited information’ according to the Commission’s own statement,” the news website says.
