The EU will upgrade its cooperation deals with Australia and New Zealand, including research cooperation.
Negotiations for a treaty-level Framework Programme agreement between the EU and Australia have begun on 31 October in Canberra. The deal will expand existing collaboration in areas including research and education, climate change, foreign affairs and development.
