Space Agency opens up meetings

The European Space Agency has invited ten more countries to take part in its governing council’s meetings as observers.

In June, the agency’s council granted observer status to the ten states that are members of the EU but not of ESA: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. These governments can follow council discussions on ESA–EU matters.
