Spain misses space exploration meeting

Spain did not attend the third international conference on space exploration in Lucca, Italy on 10 November, Público reports.

“Spain has let down its European partners twice in international summits on space exploration”—in 2009 and this year, the newspaper says, adding that most of the 18 member countries of the European Space Agency where present in Lucca, as well as the US, Russia, Japan and China.
