Spain’s basic research funding rises 3.8 per cent

Spain has increased its public funding for basic research by 3.83 per cent this year compared to 2010.

The Spanish ministry of science and innovation says its funding for non-oriented research has increased from €370.5 million in 2010 to €384.7m in 2011.
