Anne Glover to be EU’s first chief scientific adviser

The European Commission has appointed biochemist Anne Glover, Scotland’s chief scientific adviser, as the European Union’s first CSA.

Glover, who has been CSA to the Scottish Government since 2006, is due to leave her current post on 21 December.
