Spanish pharma maintained innovation spending in 2010

Spain’s pharmaceutical industry has maintained its innovation spending in 2010 despite the economic crisis, Correo Farmacéutico reports.

Investment in innovation has increased by 1.05 per cent in 2010 on the previous year, the news website says. It amounted to about €1.1 billion in total, according to the Survey on Business Innovation 2010, released by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
