The next Framework Programme will be worth €80.2 billion if the European Commission gets its way, the proposal for the 2014-2020 EU budget has shown.
This would represent a 46 per cent increase on the budget of Framework 7, which runs from 2007 to 2013 and is worth about €56bn.
