Industry research network Eureka says it has funded about 4,200 projects, worth a combined €30 billion, since its creation in 1985.
The most active countries in Eureka projects are Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK. These eight countries have taken part in over 500 projects between 1985 and 2011.
