Hungary to focus Eureka chairmanship on boosting regional funding

This month, Hungary has taken up the chairmanship of Eureka, the European network for industrial R&D, saying it would focus on strengthening the Eurostars programme and increasing the regional dimension of the network.

Hungary took over the one-year Eureka chairmanship from Israel on 1 July and announced its priorities at a conference called “Smart growth through international R&D cooperation”, held in Budapest on 8 July.
