More help needed for small businesses, says EIF

New financial instruments must be introduced that are better tailored to the individual needs of smaller businesses in Europe—which are having serious problems in accessing capital for growth—according to both employers and fund managers.

The European Investment Fund and UEAPME, the European craft and SME employers’ organisation, has called for a comprehensive set of measures to further support these smaller companies obtain finance.
