Austrian universities need €900m, says student union

Universities in Austria need an extra €900 million to develop to their full potential, says Martin Schott, vice-president of the Austrian student union (ÖH).

“If we say we want to reach 2 per cent of GDP, we need a billion (euros) for education,” Schott told newspaper Der Standard in an interview published on 16 August.
