Czech Republic to introduce public university fees

The Czech government is planning to introduce tuition fees in public universities, according to newspaper Pravo.

Higher education is free in Czech public universities, up to a certain study duration. But the centre-right government wants to introduce deferred fees from 2013 onwards, the Czech daily reported on 15 August.
