Measures for women’s academic careers have failed, says Austrian watchdog

Measures to improve academic career prospects for women are mostly inefficient, the Austrian Court of Audit has said.

In a report published on 25 August, the public spending watchdog says that women are still a minority in academia, and still earn less than men.
