Poland establishes nuclear research centre

Poland’s National Centre for Nuclear Research will start operations in Świerk on 1 September.

The centre is the result of the government’s merger of the Polatom Institute for Atomic Energy and the Sołtan Institute for Nuclear Studies into the largest research institute in the country, with about 1,000 employees.
