Polish president vetoes ‘junk’ GM law

The Polish President, Bronislaw Komorowski, has vetoed a law that opened the Polish market to GM crops, reports News from Poland.

Komorowski said on 24 August that he was not against genetically modified organisms but claimed that the bill was “legal junk”, the news website wrote.
