Russian rocket failure could affect Galileo

The recent failure of a Russian rocket could affect satellite navigation services in Europe, the head of the European Space Agency said.

Jean-Jacques Dordain, ESA’s director general, spoke to French newspaper Les Echos on 25 August, after the failure of the Russian launcher Soyuz that was supposed to resupply the International Space Station.
