Swiss private R&D needs tax breaks, study says

Switzerland should introduce tax breaks to prevent corporate R&D from leaving the country, says a report released on 23 August.

The report’s authors say tax breaks can help research companies hit by the strong Franc and the financial crisis. They say tax breaks are a “necessary and extremely effective instrument for Switzerland to strengthen its own capacity for innovation as an R&D location”.
