Researchers and businesses are backing the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and want it to play a larger role, according to a European Commission consultation.
The 187 respondents to the consultation, published on 8 September, said they wanted the EIT to have a “distinctive” place in Horizon 2020, the follow-up programme to Framework 7.
