Eight EU countries complained that the European Commission’s budget proposal for 2014-20 is too high, EU observer reports.
EU affairs ministers from Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK issued a group statement after a meeting in Brussels on 12 September.
