European biology lab signs South Africa cooperation deal

The European Molecular Biology Organization is to make its research available to scientists in South Africa under a cooperation agreement signed on 22 September.

The agreement will allow South African researchers to participate in EMBO programmes and projects. Some research projects are also expected to be farmed out to South Africa. A set of short- and long-term fellowships will be available to South African scientists.
