Serbia has announced plans to improve cooperation and development of patenting as part of its membership of the European Patent Office in the wake of a visit by the EPO president, Benoît Battistelli.
On 22 September Battistelli, the Serbian deputy prime minister for European integration and the Serbian minister for education and science discussed how to use patenting to support innovation and the harmonisation of European patenting laws, according to the EPO.
